Chapter 1

Location: Manor Common Room (Day)

As I walked into the common room one morning, I found myself the Southern wizards being grouped up. 

Figaro: Sorry to break it to you all, I was supposed to join for training today but something came up at the last minute. 

Rutile: Not to worry, Doctor Figaro. We’ll be alright but make sure to take care of yourselves, okay? 

Akira: Good morning, guys. Why are you all rounded up here?

Mitile: Oh hey! Good morning, Master Sage. 

Lennox: I’m about to accompany Doctor Figaro to the South. 

Akira: To the South? 

Rutile: An elderly man we knew of wrote Doctor Figaro a letter where he complained about his back pain and how he couldn’t move an inch. 

He requested for his broken roof to be repaired too, so Mister Leno had to also accompany him.

Akira: A letter…He must be in pain for a few days now, right? You guys better hurry and help him out.

Figaro: Definitely. Hey Sage. Got some free time to spare for today?

If you’re chill with it, I was thinking if you could fill in teaching Mitile and Rutile for me.

Akira: Wait a minute, you want me to teach them? But I have no idea on where to start…

Figaro: Maybe share more about your world? I’m sure they’ll benefit from learning about a universe they have no idea of. 

Akira: I get what you’re saying...but I still get kinda nervous being a substitute teacher and all.

On second thought...If they’re fine with me telling all of my stories to them, I’ll be more than happy to do it.

Rutile: Really? I would love to listen to your stories once more. 

Mitile: Same here. Being able to listen to you share more stories about your world is surely fascinating!

I turned around. And there was Arthur and Riquet, standing near us with their faces radiant, speaking in unison.

Arthur: May we listen to you share more about your world, Master Sage? 

Riquet: I would be more than happy to take part in this!

Location: Manor Training Ground (Day)

Rutile: Alrighty, so is everyone all seated?

Arthur, Mitile, and Riquet: Yes, we are!

Akira: ...It’s just like a normal class back in my world where everyone’s all seated with matching uniforms.

Rutile: Do the people in your world study together and wear the same training uniforms, Master Sage?

Akira: That’s right. We call it a seifuku* but the thing is each school has their own design...We can tell which school they went to based on their uniforms. 

Some people wear different uniforms for school trips and other outings. I always feel this certain feel of togetherness whenever I see others wear the same clothes in a place unfamiliar to them. 

Rutile: Oh, school trips...! I heard about it before! It’s a trip where everyone travels to a certain country to learn more about their culture and customs, right?*

People would eat all kinds of food served locally, stay in the same room with their friends during the night time and have lots of fun together…

I can imagine how fun it is to do all kinds of activities made possible when going on a trip. 

Arthur: Going on a trip with friends...Sounds really fascinating. What else do you do, Master Sage? 

I shared with everyone all kinds of stories about school life as their faces were filled with curiosity. 

Arthur particularly showed his interest in doing things along with the teens around his age, he listened with an innocent smile plastered in his place.

(Knocking)

On top of our conversation, Rutile and Mitile both shared about their lives during their time at school. Our talk started to grow more lively. All of a sudden, we hear a knock on the door that echoed the training ground.

Chapter 2

Location: Manor Training Ground (Day)

Cain: Sorry to spoil the fun. But it’s time to go back to the castle, Arthur. 

Rutile: Oh my...Is it that time already? Time sure flies fast. 

Riquet: You've been working too hard lately, Prince Arthur. I’m worried about your health. I’m afraid that one day, you might end up feeling unwell…

Arthur: Thanks, Riquet. Tomorrow’s going to be my day off in a long time, so I’ll be going back to the manor by tonight. 

Thank you for all of the interesting stories you shared with me, Master Sage. I look forward to hearing more.

Akira: Of course. I’ll be more than happy to share more of my stories with you.

(He looks kinda sad though…)

But he only gave that expression for a short while. Soon, he walked out the room along with Cain, with a look of a gallant prince. 

Rutile: ...Prince Arthur sure is remarkable. He’s only 17, but he still strives in working hard with his prince duties. 

Riquet: With all that work back at the castle, I doubt he’ll really have the time to spend with his friends…

Mitile: That’s true...When I was at school, I had lots of friends I was able to spend time and play with...

Rutile: Truly. It’s important to find valuable time to spend with your friends. 

Whenever it’s the happy times, the fun times and the sad times...Finding the chance to share all kinds of memories to the people outside of your family is hard to come by. 

Arthur: If only Arthur could get more time to spend with everyone else…

Rutile: ...That’s it! I thought of a great idea!

Location: Manor Hall (Night) 

Cain: It’s getting late already, huh? You all good, Arthur? Must have been really exhausting for you to accomplish all of these responsibilities the past few days…

Arthur: Same goes for you too, Cain. Make sure you get some rest tomorrow, ok––Hmm?

Akira: Welcome back, Arthur and Cain.

Rutile: It must have been difficult for you to work late, right?

Arthur: Oh, if it isn't Master Sage. And Rutile too. 

Akira: You must have been exhausted after a long day, so I’ll prepare you some tea. Why don’t you come along with me to the common room? 

Rutile: Alright, let’s go! Let’s get going! 

Arthur and Cain: …Eh?

(Footsteps) 

Rutile: We’ve almost reached the common room, you two! 

Cain: Hey, hey! No need for you to push us all the way, you know? We can get there to the common room by ourselves.

Cain: ...Woah!

Chapter 3

Location: Manor Common Room (Night)

Shino: Dammit… He caught it.

Akira: (Cain was able to catch the pillow that was thrown to him out of nowhere so effortlessly...)

Chloe: Welcome back, Prince Arthur and Cain! We’ve been waiting for you two.

Heathcliff: You know that Master Sage mentioned it’s against the rules to throw at someone who doesn’t have a pillow on their hands...right, Shino?

Cain: What’s up, you guys? It’s already late so what are you guys up to?

Arthur: And also, why’s everyone holding pillows? 

Rutile: You see, Prince Arthur, it’s the night after a long day from a school trip!

We will be sleeping together with everyone else tonight, so that we could experience what it's like to spend a night during a school trip. 

Arthur: What, a school trip…?

Akira: Yup. It was Rutile’s idea and he told everyone it would be fun if we all do this at the manor.

It was impossible for everyone else to actually join in because of their own commitments though, so we decided to just round up all the people who could meet here for tonight. 

Rutile: Since tomorrow we’ll be taking a break from training and missions, let’s stay up all night and have fun to the fullest! 

Chloe: I heard that school trips are real exciting! We have been doing this just now...a pillow fight!

Heathcliff: Back in the Master Sage’s world, pillow fights are one of the games often played during night time of a school trip. 

Mitile: The rules are simple. If you throw a pillow and you get hit, you’re out. 

Cain: Wouldn’t that be dangerous if a pillow hit something found around the room? 

Riquet: It will be alright. You see, I already requested Oz if he could cast a spell where nothing breaks if it gets hit in this room.

Oz also looked like he had free time to spare, so I invited Oz several times if he could join us too. But all he said was “I refuse to.” My goodness! All that trouble just to approach him if he could tag along with us. 

Oh, I almost forgot. He also made these for you two. 

Arthur: It’s Master Oz’s sugar!

Rutile: I’m aware that both of you are all worn out, so I don’t want to force you…

But if you’re interested, why don’t you spend time with us and experience the night after a long day of a school trip? 

Arthur: I’ll be more than happy to join you! It’s a dream come true being able to spend time with everyone like this. 

Cain: Good to hear, Arthur. I’d love to join you guys in the fun too. 

Shino: Now that everything’s worked out. You guys better get your pillows ready. 

Arthur: Oh right! Let’s get going, Cain! 

(Running footsteps)

Akira: (Arthur looks super happy, isn’t he? I’m glad that he’s having a blast.)

Rutile: Please take care and don’t fall down in the halls while running, okay you two? 

And now, the night of a school trip has begun!

Card Episode: What If Arthur Was A Student

Akira: You were a school teacher back in the South, right Rutile? What kind of students were like back at the school you taught at? 

Rutile: There were all kinds of students back at the school, you see! There were kids filled with energy and some kids who were cheeky. There were kids who were shy and kids who were pampered. 

No kid was ever the same and it was fun yet fulfilling to figure out ways on how I can become closer to each of them. 

Akira: It must have been nice for you to accomplish and enjoy things like that. Your students must be fortunate they had you as their teacher. 

Although, what would you do if a prince like Arthur went to study at your school?

Rutile: Oh really? Someone like Prince Arthur, huh…

I want to ensure he’ll get to experience many things along with his classmates where they can accomplish many things together at school. 

I also believe that it’s important to create brand new things together or even try something new...I'll even make him spend more time on doing more activities and playing rather than him just sitting and listening to lessons in the classroom. 

Akira: How wonderful, That’s something you would actually come up with...! Although I feel he might also have to do his homework at the castle.

Rutile: Yeah! There will be times where you find yourself getting into a fight with a friend while playing together. 

I think it’s great if we have cases where arguments and conflicts occur. Those are precious memories in life too. 

It would be amazing if Arthur also experienced the same things at the manor too. Don’t you think so too, Master Sage?
