CHAPTER 2
Shino: Mess with me one more time and you will regret it.
Mithra: Huh? Aren’t you the one who will regret it.
Akira: Whoa, a fight…!?
Rutile: What is going on with you two? It’s good that you’re full of spirit, but you shouldn’t go around and destroy desks!
Shino: I’ll make it so insults won’t come flying out of that mouth ever again.
Mithra: You’re quite irritating despite being so puny. I will crush you to a pulp if you wish.
Akira: (He grabbed Shino by the collar…! Isn’t this a little bad?)
Rutile: Hey! Let go of him!
Mithra: ...Fine. Good grief, you’re so annoying.
Akira: (T-Thank goodness…He stopped.)
Shino: ...Yakisoba bread*.
Rutile: Huh?
Shino: I bought the last one that was on stock and this fellow right here nudged me and said that it's his bread.
Akira: (H-How pointless…)
Rutile: Now, Mithra is in the wrong. There’s a first-come, first-served policy implemented in the cafeteria for Yakisoba bread, after all.
Mithra: …
Rutile: Come on now, apologize properly to Shino. Say “I’m sorry.”
Mithra: I don’t really get it, but it’s fine if I just say it, right…I’m sorry.
Rutile: Well done!
Shino, can you forgive him? I’m sure Mithra was hot-tempered because he’s hungry.
Akira: (It was somewhat forced, but at least it was settled peacefully...)
Rutile: I’m glad those two have reconciled.
Akira: You’re amazing, Rutile! To think you’ve stopped those two…especially Mithra.
Rutile: Not at all. Mithra may be careless, but he is actually a nice person.
Akira: Careless…setting aside whether or not that’s true, he is indeed very unique. Not only Mithra, but also all of the students here.
Those strong idiosyncrasies are an edge, but rebranding the school’s online reputation into something more clean-cut is quite the task, isn’t it…
Rutile: …That’s it! I just came up with a good idea!
I will make that prior incident into a breakout comic** and upload it on social media!
Akira: Eh!? Are you referring to the exchange between Mithra and Shino? They were arguing to the utmost, won’t that just ruin the school’s reputation further?
Rutile: Fufu~ Does the transfer student know how celebrities make names for themselves?
Akira: …?
Mithra: Huh? Aren’t you the one who will regret it.
Akira: Whoa, a fight…!?

Rutile: Shino, you should calm down too. How did it escalate to a fight like this in the first place?
Shino: ...Yakisoba bread*.
Rutile: Huh?
Shino: I bought the last one that was on stock and this fellow right here nudged me and said that it's his bread.

Shino: …Understood. This argument ends here. I spoke too much.
Akira: (It was somewhat forced, but at least it was settled peacefully...)

TL Notes:
*焼きそばパン - Yakisoba Bread (pan is bread in JP) is a sandwich that has Yakisoba (savory stir-fried noodles) stuffed in a hotdog bun. It’s a popular snack and lunch among teenage students at school cafeterias that sell out fast—that’s why Rutile mentions the “first come, first served” policy for buying yakisoba bread.
**暴露漫画 - literally translates as exposure comic (manga) but I thought that “exposure” sounded too jarring so I translated it as “breakout” (suddenly successful and extremely popular) instead, in relation to Rutile’s motive to boost the school’s popularity from closing down.
