Location: Snow and White’s Room (Day)
Snow: It’s most likely due to the effects of the < Great Calamity >. The tower can not be broken that easily, we assure you.
The magic within the letter was unnaturally chaotic as well; it seemed to have wandered around for a while before finally reaching us.
White: Because of that, we’re unsure when exactly the letter was sent. It could be from yesterday or even from a few months ago.
Vitis said he felt very regretful and apologized again and again.
Akira: Then… That means…
White: …Worst case, the tower has already collapsed.
Rustica: How can that be…
I was stricken with grief upon realizing that something so dear to them could possibly be long gone.
It’s natural for Snow and White to be sullen, but if he were to learn about the news, Figaro would be saddened too. And so would be Mitile and the rest who were enjoying the stories about the tower only recently.
My heart couldn’t stop aching and I didn’t know why. I had never seen it, so how come I felt so much anguish.
Could it be because I won’t ever be able to see the tower I had heard so much about?
Akira: (But… It’s not just that…)
Maybe it’s because I superimposed the tower for the candle the twins had given me.
White: You seem rather worried, Sage. That makes us happy, you know.
Snow: However, you shouldn’t make such a long face. We, too, feel mournful about the tower collapsing.
White: Whatever condition it may be in, we will restore it to its former beauty no matter what.
Snow - White: Rest assured, we will take care of everything!
Akira: A-Are you for real!?
Snow: Hohoho! Why the surprised look? Restoring it will be an easy job for us. We are the ones who made it, after all.
White: Vitis must’ve foreseen it was going to happen soon so he sent us that letter.
Their smiles were gentle and heartwarming—just like the first time we met.
Akira: Thank goodness…! I knew you and Mister Vitis wouldn’t let the tower remain broken…
White: But of course. We are well aware how much it means to him. In fact, Vitis is the one who has it the roughest right now.
He must be desperately awaiting our visit.
Snow: Therefore, we shall head to the North as soon as possible. Would you like to accompany us? Perhaps we will show you around the tower if we get the chance.
Akira: Thank you so much! I would love to!
Rustica: If it’s alright with you, may I come as well?
It’s rather disheartening to see something you cherish crumble right before your very eyes.
If there’s a way for me to be of use and soothe Vitis’s feelings, I would like to offer a helping hand.
White: Oh, Rustica… You have our thanks. Do lend us your assistance, please.
Snow: How about we also invite Arthur and the others? The more, the merrier. They too wanted to see the tower, after all.
––
Location: Manor Common Room (Day)
After explaining the situation, Arthur, Heathcliff, and Mitile said they would love to accompany us. Figaro said he would tag along as well.
Heathcliff: While I would love to see the tower, I’m very worried about what Vitis is going through …
Arthur: I agree. The effects of the < Great Calamity > can really be unfathomable. I hope he’s safe…
Mitile: Would it really be okay for us to visit? What if Mister Vitis ends up getting jealous…
Snow: Not to worry, Mitile. He's responsible for the incident in the first place because of his lousy protection over the tower.
He is in no position to defy us.
White: Let’s not forget that we are the ones who will restore the tower. If anything, he ought to throw us a welcoming banquet.
Figaro: ...And may I ask why are you in your grown-up forms?
White: Hohoho! It’s been well over a hundred years since we last got to see our beloved darling… The tower, that is. We simply must dress up for the occasion.
Snow: It’d be easier for us to threaten him like this, don’t you think?
Akira: (Oh they’ll definitely end up making Vitis jealous…!)
Then, all of a sudden, a figure showed up out of nowhere.
Bradley: ….Ahhh! Shit!!
Heathcliff: Bradley!?
Bradley: The hell is this now… Ah, it's the common room.
Arthur: You sneezed yourself flying again, didn’t you? It’s good you ended up somewhere nearby and not somewhere dangerous, though.
Bradley: Good my ass! Like hell I’d wanna sit around with ya! I’d rather get blown off to the seas of the North ‘stead!
Snow: You’ve arrived just in time, Bradley.
White: Would you like to come along with us? We will be going on a little something we call “A Trip To The Bewitching Kaleidoscopic Tower Of The North”!
Bradley: …What?
Akira: You see…
As I explained the events that had recently happened, Bradley split his sides from laughter.
Bradley: That guy’s completely nuts for swearin’ his life to that damn glass tower!
But whydja assume I’d wanna go there in the first place?
Snow: For safety measures. We would feel much safer with a wizard as powerful and swell as you around.
White: We’ll be a hundred times stronger with you by our side.
Bradley: Ya really think I’m gonna fall fer that? There’s nothin’ to worry ‘bout if you and Figaro are there, is there.
Figaro: C’mon, Bradley~. I’m just a flighty, Southern wizard, completely unprepared for the chills of the North.
So, we’d be glad if you could come along with us.
Rustica: Besides, the tower is owned by a wizard who’s traveled far and wide, meaning there must be plenty of beautiful things to see.
Since you have an eye for aesthetics, maybe we could have a conversation on the topic of beauty.
Bradley: Ya think I care? I ain’t going near that stained glass mumble jumble.
Snow: Such a cocky prisoner you are. Perhaps you’ve forgotten that your acts of freedom happen solely under our supervision.
White: This is an order, Bradley. You must obey and do as you are told.
Bradley: Abusin’ yer power much? Can’t you just lemme breathe for once?
If I really gotta do this then you better gimme yer hidden stash of mana stones as pay. And an apology. Then I’ll be on board with ya.
Snow: My word, how cunning you are.
White: Alright, we have a deal. It is an urgent matter, so we will accept your offer.
Then, shall we get changed and head over?
Snow - White: << Noscomunia >>
Akira: Woah!
The twins cast their spell and in the next moment, everyone was dressed in formal attire.
Rustica: Oh my, how wonderful these outfits are! Very reminiscent of the snowy landscapes and the blue skies above them indeed.
Snow: It’s been quite a long time since we’ve last seen our beloved masterpiece. It's only natural that we dress our best.
White: Let us depart, everyone. To the one and only stained glass tower there is in the North!
