It looked as if the butterfly-like spirit was giving us a tour around the well-known spots in the forest…We visited different spots from majestic waterfalls to the fields filled with colorful flowers.
Mitile: All of these flowers in bloom are beautiful to look at. Is it okay if I could pick one up as a souvenir for Riquet?
Rutile: Feel free to! I see you stumbled upon a wonderful souvenir to bring home.
Akira: I agree. It’s white, grand appearance would suit Riquet best.
Mitile: Hehehe. He’ll love it for sure. Okay then, I’ll be coming back in a few!
(Grass rustling)
Akira: The air’s really refreshing and seeing the scenery before my eyes just makes me feel rejuvenated right away…Thanks for making me go with you earlier, Rutile.

Akira: The aura feels so similar to what we saw when we visited the other sceneries…So why did the spirit decide to bring us here?
Rutile: Did it want to let us see this ravishing creek? Or maybe something amazing is about to happen here? I can’t wait to find out!
(Water drifting)
Rutile: …Oh! Over there by that creek! Something came afloat!
Mitile: Looks like the spirit’s saying that you should get it, brother!
Rutile: Alright! Gotcha.
(Water splashing)
Akira: Is it some kind of…drinking glass? The golden liquid’s glistening and majestic, don’t you think so?
Rutile: Looks like the inside contains some mead. The surface of this drinking glass is very lovely and you can see it’s crafted with care.
Mitile: Was there a reason why the spirit wanted to show us this drinking glass with alcohol on it?
All three of us began puzzled while we inspected the mead. All of a sudden, it then started to billow. We later witnessed a beautiful woman eating all by herself.
Mitile: That must be the exact place where we’re all sitting right now, right?
Akira: Ohh, you’re right! And it looks like she’s holding the same drinking glass Rutile picked up earlier, correct?
(And also I think I saw this person before…I wonder who? I haven’t met her but she does look like someone familiar.)
Rutile: It’s a well-made drinking glass after all! It also has a similar beautiful design like the one I’m holding. Or maybe it’s the exact same one.
Her hairstyle, her hair color and the stylish dress she’s wearing. She must be…
Mitile: Uhm, brother. Could that be that this woman is no other than…!
Rutile: You got it right, Mitile. This person is our beloved mother!

(So that’s why. I only seen a picture of her at Mitile’s room before. That must be why I had a feeling she looked familiar even if I haven’t met her…)

Mitile: Hard to believe that we’re right at the spot where our mother was… It makes me…
Rutile: Yes. That’s right. I’m more than happy. I’m so glad to have come here.
Mitile: (Sniffs) Yes…
Mitile started to tear up, he struggles to fight back the tears in his eyes. Rutile leaned in to gently hug Mitile.

Rutile: Our mother apparently left this drinking glass behind and the spirits kept it as a memento for her.

Rutile: I got everything covered! It feels like we’re drinking with our mother, drinking the same mead with the same drinking glass at the same spot and all.

Akira: The fruit fell out all of the sudden!
Mitile: The spirit wants you to take this instead of the mead, Master Sage.
Akira: Got it! To all of the spirits, thank you! It looks juicy and tasty!
Rutile: Alright then, time toーdrink up!
(Gulping)
Rutile: Oh my! It’s soo delicious!
Looks like the spirits seem to be very pleased.

Mitile: Why did you squeeze the fruit all the sudden, brother?
Rutile: Drink together with me too, Mitile. It’s juice for now but it will be nice if all three of us get to drink with our mother someday.

Mitile answers with a smile, as if a flower started to bloom*. He then delightfully drank the juice in his drinking glass. He looked just like Rutile from earlier.
Akira: (They are a family after all…)

Rutile: Alright, here you go. Let’s also drink together, Master Sage.
Akira: Huh?
Rutile: I wanted to introduce to our mother a dear friend of ours who helped connect with her from then and now.
Mitile: We both feel the same way! Please take this drink, Master Sage.

There's times I get sad that I can only just sit back and watch Mitile focus on his studies this way for a while...
