Chapter 1
Location: Figaro’s Clinic (Day)
Lennox: What are you up to, Rutile?
Rutile: Oh! Hello, Mister Leno. I thought of brewing tea to loosen up. How about you, Mister Leno?
Lennox: I went to do training. I’m feeling a bit thirsty so I figured I’ll get myself a glass of water....
Rutile: This is just perfect then! I think I actually found something to drink with you.
Lennox: You wanted to drink with me?
Rutile: Yes! Do you mind waiting a bit while I have it ready?

Rutile: Sorry for having kept you waiting!
Lennox: The scent coming from the teapot...Are these Calla Lilies?
Rutile: Bingo!
Do you remember the time before Mitile was born where we’d play this game I came up with while drinking the calla lilies* tea?
Lennox: Ahh, right.
Calla lilies change their colors depending on the day. If the tea comes out red, we’d share what happened in the past. If the tea comes out yellow, we’d talk about what happened today.
Rutile: Right, right. I even asked you about your plans when the tea came out blue one time.
To be honest, I came up with this game because I wanted to have a conversation with you.
When I was little, I thought you were very reserved. So I thought that if I spent time talking with you, I’ll be able to get to know you even more.
Lennox: I guess since talking isn’t exactly my strongest suit…
Rutile: Hehe. Since it’s been a long time, why don’t we try to play that game again?

TL Note: Real life calla lilies (spelt usually as カラーリリー but in the card story, it's spelt as カラリリス) come in different colors. They come normally in red, yellow, pink, white etc. They are also flowers that bloom during early summer specifically June to July (coincidentally Rutile birthday month). It's worth mentioning that the flower language depends on the color of the calla lily but the main words are "brillant beauty" and "feminine modesty"

Rutile: I’ll be pouring it into the cup right away. The color for today is...

Lennox: We share about what happened in the past huh?
Rutile: It’s kinda hard to decide since I had so many memories with you.
Hmmm...Ahh!
Is it totally okay if I borrow your glasses?
Lennox: My glasses? I don’t mind at all but…
Rutile: Thanks.

Lennox: ...Is there anything wrong with my face?
Rutile: Hehe. I thought about how rare it is to see you without glasses nowadays, so I’m still not used to seeing you without them…
I’ll give your glasses back...
Lennox: Alright.
Rutile: Hm, I looked alot like you if I’m sporting eyeglasses at the moment.
Lennox: That’s good then. You used to be scared of me wearing my glasses when you were way younger*
I remembered they got blown off the roof with your magic one time…
Lennox: You’re all good now, aren’t you?
Rutile: Of course! I’ve grown up already.
And besides...if I’m still afraid of glasses until now, I’ll most likely...
Lennox: Most likely, what exactly?
Rutile: I would have knock Mister Faust’s glasses off his face too!
Lennox: A-Absolutely, it would be troublesome...very much…
Rutile: I’m confident the only reason why I haven’t knocked Mister Faust’s off the roof was because I got used to seeing you wearing your frames at a younger age.
So thank you, Mister Leno!
Lennox: Haha. It's all good.

TL Note: It was also talked about in one of Lennox’s character episodes. Tiletta used to tell Lennox to remove his glasses since Rutile would end up crying and remove Lennox’s glasses by force if he saw Lennox wearing them.

Rutile: Thanks for waiting. I got you some tea made from Calla Lilies.
Akira: Wow, it has a brilliant red color. Thank you.
Wasn’t it originally found from Figaro’s clinic? You’re sure it was okay to bring it along with you?
Rutile: Yes. I also wanted to share it with everyone in the manor.
Akira: Oh, I see. Were there any other items you kept from the clinic?
Rutile: Let’s see...When I was a kid, I was given lots of paints and brushes and I used to draw pictures of Dr. Figaro’s treating the patients as well as the patients who started to feel much better. They even stopped by the clinic just to talk to Dr. Figaro.
Akira: So you have always been painting pictures for a long time?
Rutile: Yup. When I gave them to Dr. Figaro, he would pat my head and give me compliments. It made me feel super happy.
So there were times I would whip up at least ten pictures and give them to him as presents.
Akira: Ten!? That’s amazing...
...As I thought, the clinic itself was a place where Rutile and Figaro shared fond memories together, huh?
Rutile: Absolutely! I hope I’ll be able to continue to create more memories with Dr. Figaro.
I also hope you’ll be able to come along with me when we get to visit the clinic some time again.
So that you'll be able to create wonderful memories too!
