Chapter 1 ✾ Chapter 2 ✾ Chapter 3 ✾ Card Episode
Chapter 1
Location: Manor Common Room (Day)
Rutile: Hmm…
Akira: What’s wrong, Rutile? You look kinda gloomy…
Rutile: Oh, Master Sage…! I’m actually having a bit of a problem in figuring out how to help Mister Mithra get better sleep.
Akira: Ahh right, you always prepare Mithra bedtime items to help him sleep better.
Rutile: Yes… But I feel like it’s not helping him like I thought it would.
I gave all kinds of items to Mister Mithra to see if there was another way to help him, but they don’t work at all…
These days, no matter what item I’d give him, he’ll end up being cranky and he would say “Are you sure this thing really works?”
Akira: I see… That really is concerning, don’t you think so?
I understood how you feel because I also experienced the same thing. The other day, Mithra complained that he couldn’t sleep even if he held my hand.
Rutile: So you also experienced the same thing too… What did you do during that time?
Akira: For a change, I decided to invite Bradley and the three of us played a game.
We played up until morning and we even got pretty lively. For a moment, Mithra’s mood got even better.
Rutile: That’s a relief to hear. But it must have been quite difficult, wasn’t it?... I wish there is a way we could help Mithra fall asleep peacefully.
Snow - White: A pajama party it is!
Rutile - Akira: Waah!
Akira: Since when did you get here, Snow and White?
Snow: Hohoho! It was perhaps when Rutile shared to share his struggles with you.
White: Rutile. If you are having a difficult helping Mithra, would a pajama party work?
Rutile: A pajama party? What’s that?
Snow - White: When you do lots of fun activities together, it will make Mithra tired enough that he’ll end up falling asleep!

Location: Rutile’s Room (Sunset)
Right after we moved to Rutile’s room, the twins transformed our clothes into pajamas and started to prepare for the party.
Akira: Since you guys mentioned that Mithra will fall asleep if we do lots of fun activities together, what kind of activities should we do?
Rutile: Yes about that…How about we play this game called “What’s In The Box”?
It’s really popular with my students where they have to guess the object simply by touching it.
There’s also drinking, playing all kinds of instruments, and dancing. You’ll be able to fall asleep from all the fun in no time!
Snow: I must say it will be an eventful night for sure. How about we decorate just like how people would have pajama parties in the Sage’s world?
White: I have heard quite a lot about it from the previous sage and they all sound like a lot of fun.
Rutile: Oh wow! Just like the Master Sage’s? I wonder what they are actually like. Is there anything we need to prepare?
Snow - White: A mirror ball!
Akira: Wait what…!?

Location: Rutile's Room (Sunset)
Akira: A-A disco ball?
Rutile: That’s a word I have never come across before. What is that?
White: It’s a silver-colored ball that illuminates the whole place.
It also lights up a different ray of colors ranging from blue, pink, and purple.
Snow: They also shared that loud music would play and everyone starts dancing and prancing together.
Akira: (That’s not even a pajama party anymore, that’s already a whole different kind of party…!?)
Snow - White: << Noscomunia >>
Before I had the chance to correct them, the twins created a silver sphere, resembling a disco ball and it magically appeared in the room.
Light particle illusions then dispersed and swam around the dim room. In a blink of an eye, a moody, dreamlike atmosphere has been achieved.
Rutile: How lovely…! With this sparkling ambiance, I’m positive we’ll be able to enjoy our time dancing until we become totally exhausted.
Akira: Ahaha…I think so too. I think it’s the best way to liven up.
White: Oh right. If I’m not mistaken, Mithra really is fond of skeletons and animal bones. Perhaps I shall change its shape from a sphere to a skull.
Snow: I shall also create skeleton apparitions that will act as the dancers.
Akira: (It’s getting even cooler…)
Rutile: Wow…So many things that Mister Mithra enjoys are all here!
With excitement in his eyes, Rutile admires all of the things Mithra likes one after another.
White: Next is…We shall create a soothing scent where he can feel at ease.
You have vast knowledge about flowers, don’t you Rutile? Are you familiar with any of the flowers that Mithra may like?
Rutile: I sure do. But I’m not quite sure if he actually likes them or not…
One time he mentioned that the red flowers planted in the courtyard weren’t that bad because they had the same color as his.
White: How about you collect the flowers and place them on his bedside later?
Rutile: That would be wonderful! I think Mithra would be glad of the thought of being surrounded by the aroma of the flowers.
Snow: Mithra’s bed is in the center of the room after all. Perhaps we should place our beds surrounding his.
Akira: Surrounding it? Shouldn’t we put them in a row?
White: Mithra ends up being in a good mood if he gets flattered. We wanted to make it clear to him that he’s the star of the show.
Rutile: I see…
The twins made the room bigger with their magic and promptly arranged beds for everyone.
A bed is then placed in the center of the moody room. Skeletons held each other’s hands and danced amongst the interlacing, twinkling lights.
Akira: (What an amazing sight to see. …But.)
I think Mithra would be delighted with the room’s feel for sure.
Snow - White: Hohoho. Yes, yes.
Rutile: …
I really appreciate all of this, Lords Snow and White.
Thanks to you two, I have realized something important.

Chapter 3
Location: Rutile's Room (Sunset)
Akira: Something important…?
Rutile: Yes. I thought I had a fair understanding of Mister Mithra at first.
In that sense, I was convinced I did so many things to help Mister Mithra, however, none was working as I thought it would and it then gave me so much trouble.
Snow - White: …
Rutile: However as I witnessed Lords Snow and White preparing for the party, that’s when I realized.
Even if I cannot help him fall asleep, I can still make him happy with all of the things he likes. I think I also can do that too.
Akira: Rutile…
Rutile looks around the room and beamed a smile.
Rutile: If I had been alone, I don’t think I would be able to prepare such a lively party setup for Mister Mithra.
I want to give you two my thanks for bringing up so many fantastic ideas. I can’t thank you enough.
Snow: You see, we knew Mithra for hundreds of years after all.
We knew him for a long time so it’s only natural we know more about him than you do.
White: Plus it’s not that you’re doing anything wrong. You have done everything you could to help out Mithra.
It’s rather reckless of him to make you think of other ways because he couldn’t sleep. We would like to give our apologies for the trouble you went through.
Rutile: Not at all. I’m a bit delighted about it, to be honest.
White: Delighted? By how reckless he is?
Rutile: Yes. Although I still wonder if Mister Mithra sees me as a burden. I can’t help it but I get a little sad…
Maybe that’s just how I feel about it in that way.
Akira: I-I think it’s because… Mithra has a lot of trust in you, Rutile.
White: Master Sage’s right after all. The way Mithra behaves is proof that he has trust in you. Hence why he says that he keeps getting pampered.
Rutile: Hehehe! Oh really? If that’s how he feels, then that makes me happy.
Snow: Alright, the room setup is all set now.
White: And now for the final touches in our plan to delight Mithra, let’s head towards the courtyard so that we can pick up the red flowers.
Rutile - Akira: Alright!
✾ ✾ ✾Card Episode: A Southern Style Pajama Party
Location: Manor Courtyard (Day)
Rutile: Thanks for spending time with me at the pajama party the other night, Master Sage.
The way you celebrate pajama parties in your world are so unique and extravagant but most of all, super fun!
Akira: Ahaha... That was really a unique party indeed. But I'm glad you enjoyed it.
I'd also like to hold one with the rest of the South next time. How would you want the pajama party to be like, Rutile?
Rutile: Let's see. I would start with preparing everyone's favorite drinks, some snacks and flowers...
...Oh right! How about we transform the room into the South Country?
Akira: Transform the room into the South Country?
Rutile: Yes! Since everyone loves the South so much, I thought it would be a wonderful idea if we also feel the spirit of the South while being in the manor.
We could fill the room with plants from the South. And since we have lots of farm animals as well...
Then we can make them as small as Mister Leno's sheep and let them inside!
Akira: Won't that be too daring!? ...But I like the idea of the small animals, sounds wholesome.
Rutile: Hehe. I think so too.
We could even have Mister Murr set off fireworks and Mister Rustica do a performance during the party too...
It would be a one-of-a-kind pajama party since it's set place at the manor after all!

Rutile: I rarely go out of the South Country so I always wonder what's it like to live somewhere else like the North Country where cold snow never stops snowing. If you had to pick one, would you like to live in the North Country or the South Country?
